Figo is the company hound. He spends his day taking the rubbish out of the bins and shredding it into tiny pieces. He is particularly adept at jumping on people at work when they least expect it.

A natural born company director who achieved his first CEO role in his early 20’s in magazine publishing. Jonathan has worked in a strategic role in the gaming industry when he was based in California.

Jonathan Alves Tooley is a Mathematics graduate and chartered accountant. He has had various careers in both the UK and Portugal.

After graduating in IT, Duarte went on to take a Master’s in Medical Information Systems at Porto university. He is now JTA’s Head of Data Science.

Gustavo has a degree in Languages and International Relations. Prior to joining JTA, Gus taught languages, provided translation services and also gained experience within the hotel business.

Rab Bruce-Lockhart focuses on working closely with our clients, developing partnerships, and identifying new go to market opportunities.

Jorge was JTA’s first full time employee and he has a decade of experience working with us.

Catarina Alves is a Mathematician who graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.

Brian has a master’s degree in Engineering and Management of information Systems at Minho University.

João has a degree in Economics and a personal interest in Machine Learning. He is known as the team’s best footballer.

Luís studied Engineering and Management of Information Systems at Minho University, graduated with a master’s degree and worked on projects for Portugal’s Ministry of Health.

Márcio has a master’s degree in Statistics. He studied at the Minho University and joined JTA early 2016.

Domingos means Sundays for the benefit of our foreign friends. He joined JTA in the summer of 2019 and is finishing a Master’s in Information Systems Engineering and Management.

Joana is from Guimarães and is passionate about Mathematics! She chose an MSc in Mathematical Engineering to help with a career in data science.

Luís was born and raised in Porto. He joined JTA in the summer of 2019 after delivering his thesis on Network and Information Systems Engineering.

Margarida Macedo has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Porto. Mathematics has always been a passion of hers, and she has a great interest in its applications, particularly in the health sciences.

João Ferreira has a master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems from the University of Minho.

Gonçalo Almeida has a bachelor’s degree in Management and also helds a master’s degree in Data Science and Advanced Analytics, both from “Universidade Nova de Lisboa”.

João is from Braga and is currently in the last year of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems at the University of Minho.

David is from Paços de Ferreira and is currently finishing a Master’s in Data Analysis and Decision Support Systems.

Bernardo Moreira is from Porto, has a degree in Sports Sciences and completed his Master’s in Management with a specialization in Business Analytics.

Rui is from Baião and has a degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnic of Bragança.

Ricardo is from Matosinhos and has started his academic studies on Bioengineering at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Porto.

Margarida is from Vila Real and has a degree in Marketing from the Polytechnic of Porto.

Sara is from Porto’s Downtown but has lived many years across the brigde: in Vila Nova de Gaia. She graduated in International Trade from Polytechnic of Porto.

Paula is from Vila Nova de Gaia and has a degree in Accounting and Audit.

Ana has a master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems at the University of Minho.

Inês is from Braga and is currently finishing a master’s degree in Systems’ Engineering at the University of Minho.

João Vitor is from Guimarães and studied Engineering and Management of Information Systems at the University of Minho.

Miguel is from Serpa and has a master’s degree in Mathematics and Applications from the University of Aveiro.

Hugo Castro is from Santo Tirso and has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Economics Faculty of the University of Porto.

Adriana is from Póvoa de Lanhoso and has recently completed her master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems at the University of Minho.

Luana is from Póvoa de Lanhoso and has started her master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems at the University of Minho.

Ana martins is from Cabeceiras de Basto and has a master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems from the University of Minho.

Mafalda is a mathematician with a master’s degree in Computational Statistics and Data Analysis completed at the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Porto.

Cláudia is from Barcelos and has a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto.

Tó is from Mesão Frio and has bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.

Juliana is from Lousada and is a mathematician with a master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering at the University of Porto.

Alexandre is from Santa Maria da Feira and graduated in Business Management from Portucalense University in Porto.

Marta is from Ponte de Lima, studied Business Management at University of Aveiro and then started the Master’s degree in Auditing and Taxation at Catholic University of Porto.

Alexandre is from Guimarães and currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems Engineering and Management in University of Minho.

Miguel is from Vila Nova de Famalicão, has a degree in Accounting and Administration from ISCAP and is currently finishing a master’s in engineering and data science in FEUP. 

Ângela is from Porto, graduated in Computer Science from the University of Porto, and she loves dogs (and koalas).

Elói is from Porto and is graduated in Computer Science from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto.

Tiago is born and raised in Porto like all his family.  He started studying in the current field with 14 years old

Tânia is from Paços de Ferreira, got her bachelor’s degree in Coimbra and then completed the master’s in Corporate Finance at ISCAP.

Carlos is from Porto and has a master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from FEUP. Since then, has worked as a Software Developer across several companies and fields.

Inês is currently finishing a master’s degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

Passionate about everything scientific and has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. However, with a passion for data, took a Postgraduate degree in Software Development.

Rodrigo is born and raised in Vila Nova de Gaia and studied Information Systems Engineering and Management at the University of Minho.

Rafael graduated in IT Management and holds an MBA in Data Science & Analytics from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He has more than 7 years of experience in the end-to-end data lifecycle.

João is from Viana do Castelo and has a Master’s in Cybersecurity. He’s worked as a Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, and Cybersecurity Analyst.

Cláudia Peixoto from Freamunde with a degree in Management and a Master’s in Finance

Rita is born and raised in Porto. She got a degree in accounting and administration from Iscap and is currently finishing a master’s in business management.
